The Society of Economics aims at contributing to society through its academic research and presentations.
 

<Activities>
  (1) Quarterly publication of the "Takasaki City University of Economics Collection of Essays" journal.
  (2) Publication of a study guidebook for new students, "Intro - The Path to Study"
  (3) Organization of academic research seminars and lecture meetings
  (4) Furtherance of the "Study and Research Support Program for Students" and assisting in the printing and publication of graduation theses for seminars
  (5) Seek out submissions for student essay contests
<Organization>
  (1) Regular member: Full-time faculty of the Faculty of Economics
  (2) Special member: Emeritus professors of the Faculty of Economics, those who hold an equivalent status to the emeritus professors of the Faculty of Economics and those who have provided a distinguished service to the Society and were deemed eligible by a general meeting of regular members
  (3) Supporting member: Part-time faculty and graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Graduate School of Economics and Business Administration and those who align themselves with the aims of this Society and obtain the president's approval
  (4) Student member: Students of the Faculty of Economics and Graduate School of Economics and Business Administration
