Graduate School of Economics and Business Administration

Based on the recognition that educational institutions need to take a holistic approach to meet social demands beyond the existing framework of education and research, as well as pursue sustainability in addressing new challenges in education, the Graduate School of Economics and Business Administration at Takasaki City University of Economics aims to nurture human resources who focus on the relationship between society and business, have a practical business ability and can play an active role in companies, municipal governments and other arenas in regional economies. Taking into account the societal demands for refresher training and lifelong education, the Graduate School's curriculum is arranged in a flexible timetable, in which students can choose classes on Saturdays and on weekday evenings. In addition, according to the Education Personnel Certification Act, the curriculum is arranged so that students can obtain specialized certificates and qualifications. The timetable of the curriculum is shown below.

Sixth period 18:00 - 19:30
Seventh period 19:35 - 21:05
 
  • On Saturdays only the first period through fifth periods meet.
  • All seminars take place on Saturdays and the sixth period on weekdays.
  • The library is open from 9:00 to 21:30.

Graduate School of Regional Policy

Taking into account societal demands for refresher training and lifelong education for working members of society, the Graduate School of Regional Policy at Takasaki City University of Economics has adopted the day/evening course system, in which students who can only attend night classes or Saturday classes can receive an education with the same course contents as those attending day-time classes. The curriculum timetable is shown below.
